Teenage boy rams into cyclist with stolen car
A 16-year-old boy ran out of luck after he hijacked a car and later rammed into a cyclist on Wednesday, 28 May. The accident happened in West Town, Chicago. The car, a Chevrolet Tahoe had been reported stolen in a carjacking incident earlier on the same day, police reported. Two male suspects in the stolen car were taken into custody. Two guns were found and police reported that one suspect in the car was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Cyclist dies, as Prius driver evades accident scene
An unidentified bicyclist died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run collision with a Prius in Rolando on Tuesday 26 May. The San Diego police department reported that the accident happened along the University Avenue’s 6600 block, near Alamo Drive. What we know so far The driver, Abbas Karama Sharriff, 30, was arrested two hours later after the incident, during a pedestrian stop in the 7100 block of Central Avenue in Lemon Grove, four miles away from the crash site.
